Today's workout

I think today's workout was something we all needed. It would to build up everyones confidence and it also showed that we re in better shape than we thought. The distance crew (Fred, Eric, Brian, Katie Wiking and Fuzzy) did 15x500 while the middies (Me and Steph Devlin) did 600, 4x200, then a empty the tank 400. It was also one of the few nice days we've had to do a workout since the weather on Long Island is so fucked most of the time in the spring. Phil and Matt did they're workouts earlier because of schedule conflicts. Tom and Owen are nursing injuries so they both had today off. Tom was able to run though so he went for about 10 miles.

We were also provided with some "entertainment" as the Nassau Community College lacrosse team was practicing on the field within the track. I'm pretty sure our current girls xc team would not have a difficult time beating them. Anyway tomorrow is an "off" day for us so I'm pretty sure the distance crew will prob get about 6 miles in while Me and Matt we just go for 4. Hopefully the weather will hold up for final two weeks of training so we can get some quality work before we leave for the summer. Thats about all I have right now, I'll prob post again in a couple days with a preview of our race at the Yale invite and also a description of the girls team.
